

The Southwest Monsoon, or Habagat, will continue to affect Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and the Visayas on Thursday, September 10, according to the state weather bureau's 4 a.m. bulletin.
PAGASA said Zambales will experience monsoon rains due to the Southwest Monsoon.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila, the rest of Central Luzon, and the provinces of Pangasinan, La Union, Benguet, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, and Occidental Mindoro will experience occasional rains brought by the Habagat.
The Visayas, the rest of Luzon, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Northern Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon.
Meanwhile, the rest of Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.
Residents in affected areas are advised to remain alert for possible flooding and landslides, especially during periods of heavy rainfall.
