

The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) is affecting the western sections of Northern and Central Luzon on Monday, June 8.
According to PAGASA's 4:00 a.m. weather bulletin, the Ilocos Region and Zambales will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.
For wind and coastal water conditions, Extreme Northern Luzon will experience moderate winds blowing from the south to southwest.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds moving from the southeast to southwest.
As of this writing, PAGASA is not monitoring any Low Pressure Areas (LPAs) for tropical cyclone formation.
