The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to affect the western sections of Northern and Central Luzon on Tuesday, June 9.

According to PAGASA's 4 AM foreacast, the Ilocos Region, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, and Zambales will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.

For wind and coastal water conditions, Northern Luzon will have moderate to strong winds blowing from the south to southwest, with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds from the southeast to southwest, while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.

As of this writing, PAGASA is not monitoring any Low Pressure Area (LPA) for tropical cyclone formation.
