

A 44-year-old tricycle driver was shot in Pasay City on Monday morning, according to the Maricaban Police.
Authorities confirmed that the victim is currently being treated in a hospital, RH Jecelle Ricafort reports.
The victim was found bloodied along St. Peter Street in Barangay 184, with traces of blood also seen on his tricycle. Police recovered six empty bullet shells at the scene, which has been cordoned off for investigation.
Police said the suspect was arrested in a follow-up operation shortly after the shooting. The names of both the victim and the suspect have not yet been released.
Several witnesses were invited to the police station for questioning to help establish the circumstances of the attack.
The motive behind the shooting remains under investigation.
