

A Grade 12 student in Llanera, Nueva Ecija was arrested for posting a bomb threat on social media, according to a Wednesday report by RH 25 Grace Sansano.
The 18-year-old suspect was placed behind bars after making a bomb threat, which he posted on his own Facebook account.
According to Police Captain Edmer Portillo, Chief of Llanera Police, officers immediately headed to San Felipe Integrated School, where the suspect is a student, and coordinated with the school’s administration, resulting in alias “Bigboy’s” prompt arrest.
The suspect admitted to making the post so that classes might be cancelled the next day, and that it was merely a joke.
He is currently under the custody of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Male Custodial Facility and faces charges in relation to the violation of Presidential Decree No. 1727, also known as the Anti-Bomb Joke Law, and Republic Act No. 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
