South Korean media personality and former television and radio host Grace Lee-Tiu is expecting her first child at 43 with her husband, businessman Alex Tiu.
Lee announced the news through Instagram, sharing a photo with her husband as they look forward to welcoming their baby boy.
“Awaiting the arrival of our baby boy. Blessed to be pregnant at 43! Thank you Lord for our miracle baby,” she wrote.
The announcement was accompanied by photos from her baby shower, where family members and close friends gathered to celebrate the upcoming arrival of the couple’s first child.
Lee also thanked her sister, [@jinxie26], for organizing the event and expressed her appreciation to their friends who attended the celebration.
“Thanks to my lovely sister [@jinxie26] for arranging my baby shower!” she wrote in her social media post.
“Thank you to all our friends who made the time and effort to be a part of this very special day for us,” she added.
Meanwhile, Lee also shared a separate Instagram post marking her second wedding anniversary with Tiu, in which she spoke about their marriage and her husband’s support throughout her pregnancy.
Recalling their wedding day, she described Tiu as a loving, kind, thoughtful, protective, and gentle partner.
“The day we got married, I thought— how blessed am I to have a loving, kind, thoughtful, protective, gentle soulmate I can now call my husband?” she wrote.
Lee likewise shared how her husband has become more attentive since she became pregnant, accompanying her to doctor’s appointments, including ultrasound examinations and laboratory tests.
“Since I got pregnant, you’ve been even more attentive, caring and doting. You were by my side for every doctor’s appointment, may it be ultrasound or lab tests. You hold my hand nowadays like I’m made of fragile glass,” she stated.
“Thank you for making it so easy to love you even more today than on this day 2 years ago,” she added, ending her message with the Korean phrase “많이많이 사랑해요,” which translates to “I love you very, very much.”
The couple is now looking forward to welcoming their baby boy, whom Lee described as their “miracle baby.”
