In a display of endurance and teamwork, the Filipina trio of Kira Ellis, Kim Mangrobang, and Raven Alcoseba crossed the finish line in one hour, 10.14 seconds, securing the women’s relay crown.
Their seamless transitions and relentless pace left competitors trailing, showcasing the depth of talent in Philippine women’s triathlon.
Meanwhile, the men’s relay squad, composed of Fernando Casares, Matthew Hermosa, and Inaki Lorbes, claimed the gold with a time of one hour, 04.35 seconds. The trio’s strategic racing and strong finishes affirmed the Philippines’ growing dominance in Southeast Asian triathlon circuits.
The Filipino contingent didn’t stop there. In the mixed relay, a powerhouse combination of Fernando Casares, Raven Alcoseba, Kira Ellis, and Andrew Remolino carried the Philippine flag to further glory, highlighting the synergy and versatility of the team across genders.
