GCash, one of the Philippines’ leading mobile wallet services, was temporarily unavailable Wednesday morning, Sept. 30, the company said.

In an advisory posted at 10:16 a.m., GCash said its app was currently unavailable and that its team was working to restore the service as soon as possible.

“GCash app is currently unavailable. We're working to restore the service as soon as possible,” the company said.

GCash added that it would provide another update within the next two hours.

Users with other concerns were advised to seek assistance through the GCash Help Center or hotline.
