Motorists are set to see mixed fuel price adjustments, with gasoline and kerosene prices dropping while diesel prices rise starting Tuesday, October 20.
According to the Department of Energy (DOE), gasoline prices will drop by P4.30 per liter, while kerosene prices will be reduced by P1.00 per liter.
Diesel prices, meanwhile, will increase by P2.60 per liter.
The DOE said domestic fuel price adjustments reflect changes in the international oil market, amid continuing tensions in the Middle East that have affected global oil supply and prices.
Industry projections cited last week pointed to lower global diesel inventories, which contributed to the expected increase in diesel prices, while improving gasoline supply supported the rollback in gasoline prices.
