

Fusion Freedom, the Philippines' largest OPM music festival, is set to make a massive comeback this coming May 27 at the SMDC Festival Grounds, under the direction of award-winning and sought-after concert director Paul Basinillo.
During the launch event for the music festival's epic comeback on March 1, the brains behind Fusion and the CEO/founder of media agency Intersections and experiential agency PraXis shared that the festival's goal is to bring Filipinos together through music
"We believe that music has the power to break down barriers and bring people together," she said.
Fusion 2023 will also have partnerships with school organizations, connecting with the youth and various campuses throughout the Metro.
School organizations will form a unit called the Fusion Squad to help run the music festival.
A college band competition will also take place, with shortlisted bands performing in the pre-show on May 27 and the winning band showcasing their talent in the main concert.
According to PraXis Business Development Executive Jake Habitan, OPM fans can expect the biggest names in the lineup to take the stage.
"The program is curated to feature different segments, each with a fresh approach and performance interaction, to deliver an immersive and enjoyable experience for all," he said.
Moreover, 6 Cycle Mind, Adie, Al James, Arthur Nery, Bamboo, Ben & Ben, Gloc-9, Gracenote, and Hey June! Lola Amour, Morissette Amon, Shanti Dope, and other unexpected OPM artists are set to perform at the festival.
Apart from music, Fusion will also offer a variety of food and beverage options, merchandise booths, and activities.
The concert program is designed to include various segments with a unique concept and performance interaction in order to provide an immersive and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
The Filipino Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers, the Organization of Filipino Writers, and the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) all support Fusion.
Also collaborating with the music festival are PUP Communication Society, PUP Advertising and Public Relations Organization of Students, Junior Marketing Association of Letran Calamba, Archers Networks, DLSU-D Green FM, and DLSU-D Communication Program Council.
Tickets will go on sale on March 27 at SM Tickets.
Meanwhile, Gracenote, Robie Daniel, and Mariel Villeza showcased their epic performance during the launching event.
