Filipina beauty queen Fuschia Anne Ravena has been appointed the new National Director of Miss International Queen Philippines (MIQPh), the organization responsible for selecting and sending the country’s representatives to Miss International Queen, the world’s largest pageant for transgender women.
Ravena made history in March 2022 when she became the inaugural winner of the Miss International Queen Philippines franchise following its acquisition—a first-of-its-kind national pageant to officially send a Filipino transgender delegate to the global competition.
She went on to win the Miss International Queen 2022 title in Pattaya, Thailand, becoming one of only three Filipinas to capture the crown in the international pageant for transgender women.
“It’s a new chapter,” Ravena wrote, signaling her commitment to elevating the MIQPh franchise and nurturing future transgender beauty ambassadors.
Her appointment comes as she also balances her duties while she competes in the upcoming Miss Grand International All Stars competition, where she represents the Philippines on the global stage once again.
Ravena’s dual role marks a notable moment for Filipino pageantry, blending her experience as an international titleholder with her new responsibilities in mentorship and national pageant leadership.
The Miss International Queen pageant remains a celebrated international platform promoting diversity, inclusion, and empowerment for transgender women worldwide.
