Traveling with your beloved pet just got easier.

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines has officially launched “FurPAL,” a new in-cabin pet travel program that allows passengers to bring their small dogs on board all domestic routes starting February 16, 2026.

Designed for fur parents who consider their pets part of the family, FurPAL is the first and only in-cabin pet travel service currently offered by a Philippine airline.

Fly with Your Fur Baby

Under the FurPAL program, small dogs can stay inside a secure carrier placed under the seat in front of their owner throughout the flight. The service starts at ₱2,500 one-way, making it an accessible option for travelers who prefer not to leave their pets behind.

According to the airline, the initiative ensures that pets travel comfortably while maintaining safety and convenience for all passengers onboard.

“FurPAL is the first and only in-cabin pet travel service in the Philippines, allowing you to bring your small dog on board for as low as ₱2,500 one-way. Your fur baby will stay comfortably in a secure carrier placed under the seat in front of you, so you can enjoy the journey together while ensuring everyone’s comfort and safety,” the airline said in its announcement.

While the current rollout covers small dogs, PAL also revealed that the service will soon be available for cats.

How to Book FurPAL:

  • Booking a flight with your pet is designed to be straightforward:
  • Choose eligible domestic routes that offer FurPAL.
  • Click “FurPAL” on the Travel Boost page to include your pet in your booking.
  • Confirm your details and prepare for your flight together.

Travel Requirements for Pets

To ensure a smooth check-in process, pet owners must bring the following documents:

  • FurPAL Declaration, Release and Waiver Form
  • Veterinary Health Certificate
  • Shipping Permit issued by the Bureau of Animal Industry, Department of Agriculture
  • Anti-Rabies Vaccination Certificate

Passengers are also advised to secure another set of the FurPAL Declaration, Release and Waiver Form, Veterinary Health Certificate, and Shipping Permit issued by the Bureau of Animal Industry from the location of their return flight.

A New Era for Pet-Friendly Travel

As more Filipinos embrace pet parenthood, FurPAL signals a shift toward more inclusive travel experiences. Whether it’s a quick weekend getaway or a long-awaited family reunion in the provinces, fur parents can now create memories with their four-legged companions by their side.

For many, it’s not just a flight — it’s finally traveling together.
