Pump prices of petroleum products are expected to increase anew next week, with industry estimates pointing to another round of significant hikes following four days of trading.

An industry source said diesel prices could go up by ₱6.00 to ₱6.50 per liter, while gasoline may increase by ₱5.50 to ₱6.00 per liter.

If implemented, the adjustments would follow this week’s steep price hike that took effect on July 21, when oil companies raised gasoline prices by ₱3.50 to ₱3.65 per liter, diesel by ₱10.00 to ₱10.68 per liter, and kerosene by ₱11.60 to ₱11.77 per liter.

The latest adjustments marked the 29th price movement this year, bringing the total net increase to ₱49.92 per liter for gasoline, ₱50.43 per liter for diesel, and ₱48.39 per liter for kerosene.

Final price adjustments are typically announced by oil companies every Monday and implemented the following day.
