Faith and friendship converged during Traslacion 2026 as groups of devotees shared stories of devotion passed down through generations.
DZRH TV reporter Arnold Herrera featured friends Yuki and Lorenzo from Manila, who said their devotion to Jesus Nazarene was inherited from their parents and remains a constant part of their lives.
The pair said they do not attribute their faith to grand miracles but to the daily blessings they continue to experience, such as good health, guidance, and the ability to provide for themselves each day. They described the presence of Jesus Nazarene as a source of strength and gratitude in their everyday lives.
Herrera also spoke with Andrew, a devotee from Caloocan and a member of the group “CADEBA,” who said their devotion was likewise passed on by older family members. Despite coming from different backgrounds, the devotees shared common prayers for guidance, good health for their families, and an end to corruption in the Philippines, as parts of Quiapo remained calm amid the ongoing procession.
