The Department of Transportation (DOTr), through the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), will be implementing free rides for EDSA Carousel routes on Monday, September 14.

Passengers may avail of the free rides at any time on Monday, as additional assistance in their daily commutes.

Partner agencies will also be carrying out various other initiatives in an effort to make government programs and services more accessible to members of the public who may be in need of them.

“Patuloy ang pamahalaan sa paghahatid ng serbisyong abot-kamay, may malasakit, at sapat para sa lahat,” the LTFRB said in a statement.

The free ride initiative is part of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s “Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong sapat para sa Lahat” program.
