The latest triumph delivered the Philippines its fourth straight SEA Games gold in the discipline, keeping a spotless record intact since the esports’ debut in the regional competition.

Year after year, SIBOL has remained untouchable, setting the benchmark for excellence in Mobile Legends across the region.

The milestone victory was witnessed by Philippine Olympic Committee President Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino and SBP official Ricky Vargas, whose presence highlighted the magnitude of the achievement.

With both the current Olympic chief and his predecessor in attendance, SIBOL’s win carried added symbolic weight for the country’s growing esports movement.

Representing the Philippines under the banner of reigning MPL and MCS champion Team Liquid, SIBOL asserted control from the opening game.

The SIBOL men completely shut down Malaysia in Game 1, allowing no objectives in a lightning-fast clash that ended in just 12 minutes and 54 seconds—an early statement of intent that foreshadowed the rest of the series.
