Luke Jickain, a former actor and model who served as the real-life inspiration for Josh Zuñiga in the film Bar Boys, has successfully passed the 2025 Bar Examinations.

Ahead of the official release of the results, the movie’s official Facebook page shared a congratulatory message celebrating Jickain’s achievement. The post read, “Congratulations to former model and actor, now lawyer Luke Jickain.”

The page also highlighted his journey, stating, “In 2017, he was the basis for Joshua Zuñiga in Bar Boys. He went back to law school and became the basis of the character in Bar Boys: After School and passed the bar on his first take.”

In the original Bar Boys film, released in 2017 and directed by Kip Oebanda, actor Kean Cipriano portrayed Joshua Zuñiga, one of four close friends navigating the challenges of law school.

Jickain is among the 5,594 examinees who passed the Philippine Bar Examinations held in September 2025, all of whom achieved the required passing grade of 75 percent.
