

A fire broke out in a residential area along Laguna Street, Barangay 152, Gagalangin, Tondo, Manila, shortly after midnight on Monday, November 17.
By 12:36 a.m., the fire had escalated to a first alarm, as reported by Federico Manalili of DZRH News.

Just three minutes later, at 12:39 a.m., firefighters raised the alert to a second alarm, signaling the need for more personnel and equipment due to the fire’s spread among closely built homes in the area.
After nearly an hour of operations, responders managed to contain and extinguish the flames. The Bureau of Fire Protection declared the incident fire out at 1:26 a.m.
As of this report, authorities have yet to release details on the extent of the damage or whether there were any injuries or displaced families.
