A fire broke out at a residential, commercial building along Antonio Rivera Street in Brgy. 243, Tondo, Manila, on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 22.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), assisted by volunteer firefighters, quickly responded to the blaze.

The fire was raised to the first alarm at 1:54 p.m. and was placed under control at 2:23 p.m. Authorities declared the fire out at 2:35 p.m.

As of this writing, the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage have yet to be determined.
