

A fire broke out along 13th Street in Barangay Damayang Lagi, Quezon City, on Friday morning, August 28.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the blaze reached the first alarm at around 7 a.m. before being raised to the second alarm at 7:24 a.m.
It was declared under control at 7:55 a.m. and fire out at 8:45 a.m.
Some residents fetched water to help firefighters refill a fire truck battling the blaze in the area.
Meanwhile, authorities are searching for a woman who reportedly jumped from the second floor of the burning portion of a three-story house along 13th Street in Barangay Damayang Lagi, according to Barangay Administrator Augusto Nasillan.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
