

A fire erupted in a residential area in Sitio 6 in Barangay Catmon, Malabon, on Wednesday, October 22.
The fire was quickly raised to the second alarm at 5:05 PM.
In an update, RH Noche Cacas reported that at 5:15 PM, the fire was raised to the fourth alarm. The report also mentioned that most of the houses were built from light materials, prompting the Malabon City – Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and fire volunteer groups to immediately respond to the scene.
As of 5:54 PM, the fire that erupted in the said area had been raised to Task Force Alpha, a high-level fire alarm status used for large fires. It is one level above the fifth alarm, and signals that a severe fire has spread and requires a large, coordinated response team.
As of writing, operatives have yet to identify the cause of the fire.
