International Filipino shoe designer Jojo Bragais has been named as an official judge for the first edition of the Miss Grand International (MGI) All Stars pageant, set to take place in Bangkok, Thailand next month.

The MGI Organization made the announcement on its official social media platforms, confirming Bragais as the fourth judge and the first Asian member of the judging panel.

Bragais, who is the president and CEO of the Jojo Bragais shoe brand known for its high heels worn by beauty queens in local and international competitions, expressed his excitement over the appointment.

“Excited na ako for the inaugural MGI All Stars!!!” he said in a Facebook post.

The Filipino designer has become a prominent name in the pageant industry, with his footwear regularly featured in major competitions, including Miss Universe-related events.

He joins an esteemed panel of judges that includes 2005 Miss Universe Natalie Glebova of Canada, 2022 Miss Grand International winner Isabella Menin of Brazil, and renowned pageant mentor Osmel Sousa, widely known for shaping Venezuela’s success in international beauty pageants.

The MGI All Stars edition will also highlight strong Philippine representation, with five Filipina beauty queens expected to compete, including Gazini Ganados, Fuschia Anne Ravena, Keylyn Trajano, Alexia Nunez, and Imelda Schweighart.

The first-ever MGI All Stars competition is scheduled to begin on May 18 in Bangkok, with the grand coronation night set for May 30.
