Filipino flavors are set to take center stage at Olivia Rodrigo’s upcoming Daisy Chain Fields festival, with California-based Filipino-owned San & Wolves Bakeshop joining the event’s food lineup.
The Long Beach-based vegan and immigrant-owned bakery announced that it will serve a selection of plant-based Filipino-inspired treats at the festival.
“Guess what vegan Filipino bakery will be pulling up at Miss Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields?” San & Wolves Bakeshop said in a social media post.
“We’ll have ube ensaymadas, pandan sagos, Pop-Tarts, atchara hotdogs, and more!”
The festival appearance will be the bakery’s first music festival, although it has previously participated in various large and small events.
“We’ve done hella big and small events, but this will be our first music festival. We’re very honored and excited to be part of it!” the bakery said.
San & Wolves Bakeshop also invited Rodrigo and her team to visit its booth, tagging the singer in its post and jokingly telling the good 4 u hitmaker that her “Pinay butt better visit” the booth.
Rodrigo appeared to acknowledge the invitation by liking the post.
All net proceeds from Daisy Chain Fields will be donated to charities dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls.
The festival will feature an all-women lineup spanning different generations and musical genres, including Chappell Roan, KATSEYE, Garbage, Doechii, The Breeders, Mitski, and Bikini Kill.
San & Wolves Bakeshop has also gained wider recognition after being featured by the Los Angeles Times’ food platform as one of the area’s notable destinations for birthday cakes.
