Filipino-American actor Vincent Rodriguez III is making his debut in the long-running medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy” as a guest-star patient.
Rodriguez announced his appearance in a social media post, saying viewers would see him in the Nov. 5 episode of the ABC series.
The episode airs at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and will be available on Hulu the following morning.
Although he did not reveal details about his character, Rodriguez teased an unusual experience on set, involving a bloody prosthetic and live aquatic animals.
“I’ve always wanted to be on a hospital show, but I didn’t know it would be one in its 23rd season,” he said.
The actor also expressed gratitude to the show's cast and crew, describing his experience as amazing.
“Working actor. Still working. And still teaching. Two loves, back to back. Feelin’ pretty darn grateful,” Rodriguez added.
Rodriguez is best known for playing Josh Chan in the musical comedy series “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.”
