Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers etched his name in NFL history after delivering a record-breaking performance in Super Bowl LX, leading Seattle to a 29–13 victory over the New England Patriots and the franchise’s second Super Bowl title.

The Filipino-American special teams ace was nothing short of sensational, drilling five field goals, the most ever made by a player in a single Super Bowl game.

Myers also converted two extra points, finishing the championship clash with 17 total points, a decisive factor in Seattle’s dominant win.

Beyond the Super Bowl triumph, Myers capped off an extraordinary season by setting another major milestone.

His Super Bowl output pushed his season total to 206 points, making him the most prolific scorer in a single NFL season and the first player in league history to surpass the 200-point mark, including the playoffs.

At 34, Myers continues to redefine the importance of special teams on football’s biggest stage.

A native of Chula Vista, California, which is home to one of the largest Filipino communities in San Diego County, Myers proudly carries his Filipino roots, which trace back to his great-grandfather, a U.S. Navy serviceman who served in Pensacola, Florida.

With records shattered and a Lombardi Trophy secured, Jason Myers’ Super Bowl LX heroics have not only delivered a championship to Seattle but have also placed him among the NFL’s all-time greats, while inspiring Filipino football fans around the world.
