Far Eastern University-Diliman is set to represent the Philippines in the boys division of the NBA Rising Stars Invitational, with its Baby Tamaraws opening their campaign against Singapore’s Hwa Chong Institution on Tuesday.
The matchup tips off at 7 p.m. (Philippine time) and will be streamed live on YouTube, marking FEU Diliman High School’s debut in the international youth tournament.
The Baby Tamaraws enter the weeklong event in Singapore carrying momentum from their UAAP Season 88 boys’ basketball championship last year, bringing a tested lineup and winning pedigree to the regional stage.
The NBA Rising Stars Invitational runs from June 23 to 28 and features top high school teams from across Asia, offering a platform for emerging talents to compete alongside and in front of basketball stakeholders.
FEU Diliman follows Nazareth School of National University, which represented the Philippines in last year’s edition of the tournament.
