MANILA, Philippines – Laguna Congressman Dan S. Fernandez conceded to his opponent for the gubernatorial seat, saying he is thankful for the support and trust he received this 2025 midterm elections.
In a post on his Facebook account, Fernandez extended his congratulations to Governor-elect Sol Aragones, and wished for success in her leadership for a prosperous and united Laguna province.
(To all those who trusted, supported, and continued to stand with me, I am sincerely grateful. Even though we did not achieve victory in this election, my commitment and love for our province will remain intact.)

(Our goal does not end here. You can continue to count on my support for the winners and those who will win for the sake of the province. In any way I can, I will remain a public servant, though not in office, but in heart, action, and determination.)
