A fan rushed at American singer-actress Ariana Grande at the Singapore premiere of “Wicked: For Good” on Thursday.
Ariana, who has reprised her role as Glinda in the second installment of the beloved musical, can be seen in multiple videos online walking the yellow brick road carpet alongside her co-stars Michelle Yeoh, Cynthia Erivo, and Jeff Goldblum, when a man in a white shirt and shorts bore down on her and grabbed her.
The man put his arm around Ariana, pulling her close as he jumped up and down. Cynthia Erivo immediately wedged herself between the two, pushing him away and apparently shouting at him. She comforted Ariana afterwards.
Security stepped in and brought the man away. Ariana was evidently rattled by the incident, appearing to calm herself by taking deep breaths.

Netizens were quick to identify the man as Johnson Wen, or “Pyjama Man” on social media, reported DZRH’s Showbiz Angel, Angelica Cosme.
He has also crashed other celebrity events in the past, like the time he jumped onstage with Katy Perry—who initially froze up then pivoted out of his embrace—and the Weeknd.
