B’in Music announced that iconic Taiwanese boy band F4 will reunite for a four-day, sold-out concert titled “F ✦ Forever City of Stars Tour,” set to take place from December 19 to 22 at the Shanghai Mercedes-Benz Cultural Center.

The company wrote in its announcement, “Answering your wish, turning the impossible into reality, happening right now!”

B’in Music also revealed that the group released a brand-new song along with an official music video, something fans have been eagerly waiting for.

Although the group is making a comeback, only three of the original members—Jerry Yan, Van Ness Wu, and Vic Chou—will be performing. Moreover, Jay Chou and Mayday’s Ashin will also be joining them onstage.

Ken Chu later issued a statement to address circulating rumors. He clarified his situation with the recording company, explaining, “I believe there is no existing contract between me and music that side. We have always been talking in a way of expressing intentions, what I shared online with everyone a while ago was also me discussing the intentions we have been discussing from several months ago after I formally rejected their three demands.”

It can be recalled that Chu hinted at a possible F4 reunion months ago, and rumors suggested that this was among the reasons the announcement had been delayed.

“Ultimately, I had to endure the pain of giving up these so-called ‘news,’” he said. “I also only realized that I had been excluded from this matter.”

The singer confirmed he will not participate in the event. He expressed regret but asked fans to understand the situation, offering his blessings to the group and wishing them a smooth and successful performance.

F4 first came together in 2001 when their breakout roles in the iconic series Meteor Garden—with the late Barbie Hsu—catapulted them to fame. Their success paved the way for three studio albums, including Meteor Rain, Fantasy 4ever, and Waiting for You, which produced hits such as “Can’t Lose You,” “Season of Fireworks,” and “Can’t Help Fallin’.”
