Actress Cristine Reyes has announced her engagement to non-showbiz boyfriend Gio Tingson.
In a joint Instagram post shared on Wednesday, May 20, the couple posted a series of photos together, including a snapshot showing Reyes wearing her engagement ring.
“Every timeline led here. Endgame unlocked,” the couple captioned their post.
The announcement quickly drew congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities in the comment section. Among those who extended their well wishes were Anne Curtis, Iza Calzado, Alessandra de Rossi, Carla Abellana, Dominic Roque, Jason Abalos, Dianne Medina, Isabelle Daza, and Jessy Mendiola.

Tingson previously served as chairperson of the National Youth Commission from 2014 to 2016. He also worked as chief political officer for Senator Bam Aquino from 2016 to 2018 and later became chairperson of Akbayan Citizens' Action Party from 2018 to 2022.
Rumors linking Reyes and Tingson first surfaced in 2025. The couple’s relationship reportedly dates back to their childhood after meeting during their elementary school years at Ateneo de Manila University.
Years later, the two reconnected as adults, eventually turning their longtime friendship into a romantic relationship.
