Miss Grand International 2025 Philippine candidate Emma Mary Tiglao embodies the celestial radiance of the moon’s eternal daughter for the pageant’s national costume!
A homage to “Mayari,” the Kapampangan goddess of the moon, Tiglao catwalked to the pageant stage bathed in silver, sapphire blue, and midnight hues, carrying with her a symbol of feminine strength, beauty, and equality.
Like the quiet glow of moonlight, Tiglao’s costume was delicately carved with intricate filigree patterns, radiant embellishments, and crystal beadwork that illuminated the ensemble.
Designer Patrick Isorena structured the bodice and celestial wings in accordance with Mayari’s regal power. Meanwhile, the flowing ombre cape evoked the night sky cascading into dawn.
“Each element weaves the story of a Filipina goddess — fearless yet graceful, mystical yet human, standing as a beacon of light amid darkness,” Tiglao captioned her post.
“Through this creation, Emma Mary Tiglao shines as the modern Mayari, the moon’s eternal daughter, illuminating the Miss Grand International stage with Kapampangan pride and divine allure,” she added.
In a social media update, Tiglao asked her followers if they had seen the National Costume Competition earlier, expressing her excitement at seeing all her Grand sisters proudly representing their countries.
“Now it’s time to cheer for our sisters in the Grand Talent Final Round, good luck, ladies!” she said.
Tiglao, along with pageant hopefuls, is vying for the Miss Grand International 2025 crown.
The Miss Grand International 2024 title was awarded to the Philippine candidate CJ Opiaza after India’s Rachel Gupta relinquished her crown, detailing her experience in a tell-all video on YouTube.
This year, the prestigious pageant finals will be held on October 18 in Bangkok, Thailand.
