

The easterlies continue to affect the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao on Tuesday, June 16, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 4 a.m. weather forecast.
PAGASA reported that Eastern Visayas, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and Davao Oriental will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country are expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms brought by localized thunderstorms.
The weather bureau also noted that there is currently no low-pressure area being monitored for possible tropical cyclone formation as of this writing.
