Easterlies will continue to affect Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, bringing generally fair weather with chances of isolated rainshowers on Thursday, according to PAGASA.
In its latest weather bulletin, PAGASA reported that Metro Manila and the rest of the country may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. These weather conditions may lead to brief periods of rainfall, particularly in the afternoon or evening.
Meanwhile, Batanes will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains caused by the northeasterly windflow.
The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms attributed to localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA advised the public to remain vigilant, especially during thunderstorms, which may trigger flash floods or landslides in vulnerable areas.
As of this writing, the state weather bureau said no low pressure area (LPA) is being monitored for possible tropical cyclone formation.
