The easterlies are affecting Central and Southern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao on Sunday, April 26, according to PAGASA.

In its 4 a.m. daily weather forecast, the state weather bureau said Caraga, Eastern Samar, and Southern Leyte will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, also due to the easterlies.

Batanes, on the other hand, will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the frontal system.

As of this writing, no low pressure areas (LPA) are being monitored for possible tropical cyclone formation.
