The easterlies are affecting the country on Tuesday, March 24, according to PAGASA.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the weather bureau said Northern Samar and Eastern Samar will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, also due to the easterlies.
Meanwhile, no low pressure areas are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation.
