The easterlies are affecting the country on Friday, March 27, according to PAGASA.
In its 4 a.m. weather forecast, PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be experienced in Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the easterlies.
Meanwhile, Luzon and the Visayas will experience light to moderate wind speeds moving from the northeast to east, with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Mindanao, on the other hand, will have light to moderate wind speeds moving from the northeast to north, with slight to moderate coastal waters.
PAGASA also said no low pressure areas (LPA) are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation.
