A furniture manufacturing workshop in Karangalan Village, Barangay Dela Paz, Pasig City, caught fire early Wednesday morning but was quickly contained by the local fire department, as reported by RH Edniel Parrosa

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported that the fire triggered a first alarm at 6:57 a.m. The blaze was declared under control by 7:09 a.m., preventing it from spreading to nearby structures.

No casualties have been reported, and authorities are assessing the extent of property damage.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
