Team Liquid PH announced Tuesday that star gold laner Kiel “Oheb” Soriano will be moved to the team’s inactive roster, taking a temporary break from active competition while remaining an integral part of the Cavalry, ahead of the upcoming MPL PH Season 17.
In his one-year run, Oheb left a lasting mark on the competitive MLBB scene. He helped Team Liquid PH secure back-to-back MPL Philippines titles in Seasons 15 and 16, bringing his total MPL championship count to five.
Last year, the star gold laner made his mark at the MLB Mid-Season Cup, guiding the Cavalry to the championship alongside his “Babycakes” duo partner, Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno.
Oheb also brought national pride to the Philippines, winning gold with the SIBOL MLBB Men’s team at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand.
Team Liquid PH expressed gratitude for his continued commitment, saying, “In blue, the journey continues. 💙” While stepping back from the spotlight, Oheb’s legacy and influence remain a cornerstone of the organization’s future.
