DZRH's iconic radio horror drama "Gabi ng Lagim" was named Best Radio Drama Show at the 1st FAMAS Broadcast Arts Awards, held on July 20 at the Manila Hotel.

The historic ceremony marked the launch of the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Broadcast Arts Awards, recognizing excellence in television, radio, and new media while honoring outstanding programs and personalities that continue to shape Philippine broadcasting.

The victory comes after "Gabi ng Lagim" was nominated alongside several MBC Media Group radio programs and personalities during the inaugural awards. Prior to the ceremony, MMG earned multiple nominations, including "Gabi ng Lagim" and "Mr. Romantiko" in the Best Radio Drama category, highlighting the group's continued contribution to preserving the tradition of Filipino radio drama.

The award further cements "Gabi ng Lagim" as one of the country's most enduring and celebrated radio drama programs, earning national recognition for its compelling storytelling and lasting impact on Philippine radio.
