Several DZRH programs were named among the radio finalists of the 48th Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA), recognizing their contributions to public service, education, and radio storytelling.
The CMMA announced its radio finalists following a screening and deliberation process, highlighting programs and productions that continued to inform, inspire, and connect with Filipino audiences through radio.
DZRH received nominations in multiple categories, including Best Public Service Program for DZRH Operation Tulong.
Three DZRH programs also made it to the Best Radio Drama Program category: “Hukumang Pantahanan,” “May Pangako ang Bukas,” and “Sa Kanyang Panahon.”
Meanwhile, “Radyo Henyo” was named a finalist for Best Educational Program.
The CMMA said this year’s recognition carried the theme “Preserving Human Voices and Faces,” underscoring the role of media in using sound and storytelling to engage Filipino audiences.
The 48th CMMA will recognize outstanding Catholic-oriented media productions and programs across various platforms, with the radio finalists now advancing to the final stage of the awards.
