The DZRH Operation Tulong (OT) organized a feeding program on January 4 at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) for passengers stranded due to a technical glitch.
On January 1, the air traffic system glitch caused flight delays and stranded passengers until today, Jan. 4.
DZRH OT volunteers distributed adobo and rice food packs to over 1,000 individuals.

In an interview with one of the passengers, Rolando Relitibo, he shared that he was in the airport with his wife and daughter since the morning of Jan. 1 for their flight to Zamboanga City.
They were already inside the Cebu Pacific airplane when it suddenly returned to the NAIA Terminal 3 due to a power outage.
"Nung January 1, nakalipad na kami tapos pinabalik 'yung airplane, pinababa kami ng 11:45 dito. Sabi ng Cebu Pacific, cancelled. Nung nagre-book kami, na-cancel ulit. Tapos nagre-book kami ulit, ngayon nang hapon ang flight namin," he shared.
Reletibo and his family were not able to return to their home, Antipolo City, due to insufficient budget, making them eat meals once a day for the last 4 days.
He then thanked DZRH for providing them with food.
"Kaya malaking pasasalamat namin na binigyan niyo kami ng pagkain. Hindi pa nga kami nag-almusal," he added.
Foreigners also lined up in the feeding program where they enjoyed the Filipino food served.
