Supporters of former President Rodrigo Duterte headed to the Supreme Court to appeal the quick resolution of petitions against him.
In a Monday report by RH 29 Boy Gonzales, a number of the former president’s supporters flocked to the High Court to request that it issue a resolution in connection with the pending petitions against Duterte.
They appealed to the Court to bring Duterte back home, claiming he was wrongfully arrested and taken.
Those present were also part of the “Tay, Kami Naman” signature campaign, wherein they collected signatures in the hopes of convincing the Supreme Court to make a decision regarding Duterte’s cases.
This move came before the set confirmation of charges against Duterte in the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands, over charges related to crimes against humanity.
