The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has ensured the public that they will provide help and assistance to areas under granular lockdown.
According to the DSWD, they are continuing the distribution of family food packs and supplies to local government units (LGU) under the Alert Level 3 in Metro Manila and neighboring provinces.
There is also enough budget for the relief operations to combat the effect of the pandemic, it added.
Based on the record of the DSWD, as of January 10, the agency has Php 895.7 million stockpile and standby funds beside the 299,000 family food packs that are in the strategic locations that are ready to be distributed to the affected population of the country.
Aside from the National Capital Region (NCR), the provinces of Bulacan, Cavite, Rizal, and Laguna are all under Alert Level 3 until January 15, 2022.
