The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) have officially commenced the distribution of P5,000 cash assistance to thousands of delivery riders across Metro Manila today, March 26, 2026.

The financial aid is part of the government’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program, specifically aimed at cushioning the impact of rising fuel prices on the transport sector. According to official data, the payout for delivery riders is scheduled for March 26, 27, and 30.

Payout Locations

Distribution begins at 7:00 AM across various designated venues in the National Capital Region (NCR). To manage the large volume of beneficiaries, the government released an initial masterlist categorized by city:

Verification and Requirements

The LTFRB emphasized that the list of eligible beneficiaries was meticulously validated based on data submitted by Transport Network Companies (TNCs). Riders are encouraged to verify their names and specific payout schedules through the official link provided by the LTFRB.

Important Reminders for Claimants:

  • Documents: Bring your Original Driver’s License and one (1) photocopy.

  • Vehicles: The LTFRB has urged riders not to bring their delivery vehicles to the payout sites to prevent traffic congestion in the surrounding areas.

For delivery riders whose names do not appear on the initial masterlist, the DSWD assured that a special payout schedule will be organized. Those affected are advised to coordinate directly with the LTFRB for verification and further instructions.
