The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will begin rehabilitation works on four cross drains along España Boulevard in Sampaloc, Manila in September, Secretary Vince Dizon said following an inspection with Manila Mayor Isko Moreno on Thursday, July 30.

Dizon noted the drainage system was last fully upgraded in the 1950s, with only minor repairs done in recent years, leaving it in need of a comprehensive overhaul.
