Another DPWH engineer involved in the anomalous flood control projects was arrested on Wednesday morning, November 26.
The CIDG confirmed the arrest and identified the individual as Montrexis Tamayo, DPWH-IVB Planning and Design Division Chief.
He was arrested at NAIA Terminal 3 and was brought to the Sandiganbayan.
Tamayo is among the 16 individuals with outstanding warrants of arrest issued by the Sandiganbayan.
His arrest was made after his name was linked to the ₱289.5M flood control project in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.
Based on the court’s commitment order, Tamayo will be transferred to the New Quezon City Jail.
