The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) deployed six drainage pumps to flood-prone areas in Las Piñas on Saturday morning, August 29.

According to the DPWH, the pumps were deployed to areas particularly affected by flooding, including Zapote Junction and Alido.

The deployment aims to quickly reduce accumulated floodwaters and ensure the affected roads passable for motorists and commuters as soon as possible, the agency said.

The equipment includes mobile and motorized pumps.
