The Department of Transportation (DOTr) is offering free rides for commuters today, September 29.

Partnering with other agencies, the DOTr has deployed vehicles to transport commuters along select routes, free of charge, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The routes are as listed below.

• Pasig Palengke – Quiapo

• Litex/Doña Carmen – Philcoa

• Taft Buendia – Welcome Rotonda

• Cubao – Fairview

• Galleria – Taytay

“Nag-deploy po tayo ulit ng mga vehicle assets ng DOTr to make sure na may masasakyan ang ating mga pasahero. Nagpapasalamat din po tayo sa iba’t ibang government agencies na kasama nating nagbibigay ng libreng sakay,” said Transportation Secretary Giovanni “Banoy” Lopez.

The DOTr’s partner agencies for this initiative are the Office of the President (OP) and the Department of Economy, Planning and Development (DEPDev).

This free-ride initiative follows President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to ensure continued transportation services amid a number of transport groups’ strikes.
