The initiative will cover 11 routes across Metro Manila:
- Quiapo to Fairview
- Quiapo to Welcome Rotonda, with standby vehicles along España
- Divisoria to Cubao via Recto/Nagtahan
- Divisoria to Monumento
- Baclaran to Monumento via Taft
- Kalentong to Pasig
- Marikina to Cubao
- Lawton to Sucat
- Lawton to PITX
- Pasig Palengke to Cainta Junction
- Monumento to PITX via the Busway
The DOTr said a total of 27 government vehicles will be deployed to provide free rides to commuters on Wednesday.
The free ride initiative is being carried out in coordination with the Office of the President, Land Transportation Office, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine Ports Authority, Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, and Department of Energy.
