"In the industry where Filipinos like me are hardly represented, it was such an honor. Thank you to our producers for making my best ever female experience in 'Triangle of Sadness'," Dolly said.

"Thank you to our writer and director for changing my life, who has traveled as much as I have in this world where diversity and inclusion are still the things we have to work hard to achieve. Most of all, thank you to the great nation of Sweden for shaping Ruben and his wicked sense of humor," she added.

Meanwhile, Dolly was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in the 2023 British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA).

The nominees for BAFTA 2023 were unveiled last January 19.
